About us

Carisbrooke Priory is a place where people can find God's healing peace and be restored. It is a place where many have found healing of mind and emotions.

Carisbrooke Priory offers a quiet and welcoming place to retreat to, where people can be refreshed and restored.

Whether by just being still inside, or outside in the Priory’s beautiful gardens, or becoming involved in personal or group activity, many are touched by the peaceful and healing presence here and receive their own healing, particularly of mind and emotions.

The Priory is a Christian House of Prayer and Healing. In all of the running of the Priory and the various aspects of its ministry, our trust and faith is in God and the Lord Jesus Christ, as we seek and pursue God’s will through prayer, looking to the help and guidance of the Holy Spirit.

The Priory’s aims and objectives include the relief and prevention of sickness and distress through the healing ministry of the Church and the advancement of the Christian religion.  Independent of any one denomination, the Priory is run by a community of paid staff and volunteers and, as a registered charity, the responsibility for development and management is in the care of a Board of Trustees.
